About Creative Glow DIY
Beautiful decor, made affordable
Creative Glow DIY helps you create stylish home decor, upcycle ordinary and thrifted finds, and complete affordable makeovers that feel more elevated than their price tag.

The story behind Creative Glow DIY
Creative Glow DIY is a modern DIY home decor site founded by Claire Bennett. It shares handmade decor, upcycling projects, budget makeovers and seasonal styling built from materials that are easy to find and inexpensive. The goal is to make an elevated-looking home feel achievable: clear steps, realistic materials, and plenty of room to adapt a project to your own space.

It started with a thrifted vase, a tin of paint and the realization that most of what makes a room look expensive is styling rather than spending. One weekend project became an archive, and the archive became this site: a place for people who want a home that looks considered without a decorator budget.
Our Philosophy
“Beautiful does not have to mean expensive.”

Our Approach to Projects
We keep things simple on purpose. Every project starts with materials that are easy to find and inexpensive, often something already in a cupboard or picked up secondhand. Instructions are written in plain steps, and the photos show what a project actually looks like when it is made at home rather than in a studio. We reuse and repurpose wherever we can, we say when a shortcut is worth taking, and we never pretend a handmade finish is a factory one. Done well and done affordably is the whole point.
